A simpler, smarter way to start creating in Frase

We’ve redesigned the way you start projects in Frase—making it cleaner, clearer, and more intuitive to jump straight into content creation.

Instead of landing in your documents list and clicking through multiple steps to start something new, you’ll now be greeted with a simple choice when you log in.

We know that when you sit down to create, the last thing you want is friction. The previous workflow asked you to “create new document” and choose between options like SEO Workflow or Blank Document—labels that weren’t always clear about what you were getting and have become outdated as Frase has evolved.

The new design makes it much easier to choose the right starting point right away. It also aligns better with design improvements we’re making in other areas of the platform, and feels more familiar if you’ve used tools like ChatGPT.

When you log in, you’ll be welcomed with three clear options:

1. Generate Content
   Your fastest path to a finished piece of content. This flow creates done-for-you, heavily-researched, Rank-Ready articles using your target search query.
   We’ve improved this journey so you can:

• Add your own internal knowledge for the AI to consider when generating content
• Get AI-suggested article ideas based on your profile and trending topics
• Achieve your outcome in less clicks, with a smoother, sleeker, user-journey

2. Start Content Project
   This is the updated version of the SEO Workflow. It’s designed for when you want to write from scratch while using Frase’s SEO and GEO research tools to optimize for both search engines and AI answer citations.
   
   The previous name didn’t reflect the feature as it exists today with GEO optimization guidance and step-by-step instructions to help you increase visibility across all forms of search. So we’ve updated the name from ‘SEO workflow’ to reflect the new capabilities.
3. Import Content
   Bring in an existing draft and enhance it with Frase’s AI-powered SEO and AI search optimization.

• SEO Workflow → Start Content Project: Same optimization power, now renamed and expanded to include GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
• Rank-Ready journey improved: A smoother, faster flow with better context, internal knowledge options, and topic inspiration.
• Cleaner design: Everything is right at your fingertips, no extra clicks required.
• Credits:
  • When you select ‘Generate Content’, you’ll be using a Rank-Ready add-on credit
  • When you select ‘Start Content Project’, you’ll be using a Content Project credit from your Frase subscription
